Tunisian logistics provider LogistiKa has chosen the IzyPro warehouse management system (WMS) to modernize its warehouse operations and improve cash flow recovery. The rollout, planned for this summer, marks a key milestone in the company’s digital transformation strategy.
Founded in 2013, LogistiKa offers both offshore and onshore logistics services from its 6,000 m² warehouses located in the M’ghira industrial zone, south of Tunis. The company had been seeking an internationally compliant WMS solution for several years.
“We were looking for a powerful tool, while also benefiting from the proximity and responsiveness of a local publisher or integrator, but we couldn’t find a suitable solution. During a trade show in France, we met the ACSEP team, who were able to meet our needs both in terms of the solution and the human support,” explains Amine Douss, Operations Director at LogistiKa.
The standard version of the IzyPro WMS convinced LogistiKa with its user-friendliness, rich functionality, and budget accessibility. “It’s the ideal solution for a small or mid-sized company like ours! We’ll also be integrating it with the IzyWeb collaborative portal, which will allow our clients to place orders, check inventory levels, and track their orders with full transparency,” adds Amine Douss.
Currently, LogistiKa manages its operations using a logistics module from its ERP, complemented by custom developments, Excel spreadsheets, and paper-based processes. Although accurate, this hybrid digital/manual system is time-consuming and slows down the invoicing process. “We don’t have issues with inventory discrepancies or stock errors, but our current procedure delays invoice delivery and payment, which has a significant financial impact,” says Douss.
Tunisia is a major logistics hub connecting Africa and Europe. LogistiKa works with international suppliers and Maghreb-based companies that export globally. “We manage customs clearance, receiving, order preparation, and deliveries in Tunisia or for export to North African, Sub-Saharan African, and European countries. We also serve as an advanced supplier warehouse (ASW) for foreign clients and manage stock of over 1,000 SKUs, ranging from raw materials to finished goods,” details Amine Douss.
LogistiKa serves a wide range of industries: electronic manufacturing consumables, raw materials and finished products for the automotive sector, plastic injection granules, pharmaceutical excipients, photovoltaic panels, garments, and dry food products.
LogistiKa plans to expand its operations into central Tunisia and the Sahel region, with the upcoming construction of a new 6,000 m² warehouse. The goal is to deploy the IzyPro WMS there as well, reinforcing the company’s commitment to a sustainable and efficient digital transformation.
