Synchro Diffusion and ACSEP celebrate a decade of partnership marked by spectacular growth and major logistics transformation. Over 10 years, Synchro Diffusion has multiplied its capabilities, diversified its markets, and optimized its processes with the support of ACSEP and its evolving WMS, IzyPro, a solution continuously adapted to meet the challenges of a rapidly growing business.
Synchro Diffusion, a subsidiary of the Mobivia group, is a key B2B player in the distribution of automotive accessories and equipment for service stations, auto centers, retail stores, and e-commerce sellers. The company has recently diversified its operations by entering new B2B and B2C markets, including marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, and Cdiscount, with exclusive partnerships for certain brands.
To support its growth, Synchro Diffusion recently expanded its Angers site with a new 5,000 m² logistics facility and engaged ACSEP to advise on the layout of the extension and the new processes to implement in order to manage the evolution and diversification of its flows.
Opening up to B2C markets has significantly changed the nature of Synchro Diffusion’s orders, which are now more heterogeneous – single-item picking for individual customers, full pallets for professionals – and, most importantly, more numerous. All on the same logistics site.
“From around a hundred order lines per day, we went up to nearly 500!” explains Frédéric Degroote, IT Manager at Synchro Diffusion. “We had to adapt IzyPro’s configuration to manage multi-order picking waves and absorb this growth. ACSEP was able to push the limits of the WMS by providing both expertise and responsiveness.”
For 10 years, ACSEP has supported Synchro Diffusion not only in configuring IzyPro (inventory, dynamic picking, wave picking…) but also in warehouse layout, equipment selection, support, and continuous improvement in general.
“ACSEP is far from just a WMS vendor,” adds Frédéric Degroote. “Their involvement is crucial. They are true logistics experts, able to understand both our operational and IT challenges.”
Yakov Sanse-Favrou, Operations Manager at the Angers warehouse, adds: “ACSEP is a real support and spearhead in the collaboration for the layout of our logistics platform, optimizing our order preparation processes from inbound to outbound flows. The flexibility of the WMS and the experience shared by other IzyPro users are a huge added value.”
For his part, Didier Santurette, Business Development Director at ACSEP Group, states: “Supporting Synchro Diffusion for over 10 years is a great source of pride for us. This partnership perfectly illustrates our mission: to provide high-performance software solutions, as well as human and technical support built to last. Seeing Synchro Diffusion grow, diversify its markets, and continue optimizing its supply chain with IzyPro is the best reward for our teams.”
These figures illustrate Synchro Diffusion’s growth and the importance of having an evolving WMS and a partner capable of keeping pace – not to mention reliable support. “Often underestimated, support is actually critical, and we are delighted to be accompanied by ACSEP. The teams always listen attentively and provide high-quality solutions. We hold quarterly continuous improvement meetings, and the team analyzes recurring anomalies to reduce disruptions.”
